An aged crook, last of a dying thing.
Tethered to Earth with foul string.
They clap their hands, they lift their heads to sing.

Half-world inhabitants floating free.
Blind to the torment that fastens me.

Their hammered gold and gold enameling.
Gruesome devotion to all that is fading.
So set upon this ravaged effigy.
So set upon his vicious memory.

Fastened to the strongest animal,
Let us waste a floral enormity.
Release his grievous tooth filling.
Depart the daily dream killing.
